It was bad enough to think of the quantities of clothing going into landfill when we assumed they were well worn items with little or no remaining usage in them. However, we were truly shocked when we discovered that a sizeable proportion of clothing has never been worn and, still in its original factory packaging, is buried.
Apart from the pollution problem this caused it seemed a wicked waste of resources when people need such items of clothing so we determined to use our decades of business experience to firstly locate such unwanted factory production and then find a market for it.
This in essence is the rain d'être for International Textiles Limited. We locate unsold items and find a market for them and hopefully in the process make a profit for ourselves whilst providing practical goods at affordable prices and doing a little to reduce pollution in the world.
